Gold price reaches Rs 189,700 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the local market has reached Rs 189,700 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Similarly, the price of silver is being traded at Rs 1,990 per tola.

Compared to last Friday, gold has increased by Rs 100 per tola. On that day, gold was traded at Rs 189,600, while silver was priced at Rs 2,000 per tola.

In the international market, the price of gold stood at USD 3,318 per ounce as of Sunday, according to international news reports.
