KATHMANDU: The play ‘Katha – Ek’ has begun its theatrical run at Mandala Theatre in Thapagaun, captivating audiences with its poignant portrayal of human relationships and the emotional tides that shape them.
Premiering last Friday, the production explores themes of forgiveness and acceptance within relationships.
It delves deep into the search for love, the pull of attraction, disagreements, emotional discomfort, and ultimately, the journey back to connection.
The play marks the directorial debut of poet and theatre artist Anup Neupane.
Co-written by Neupane and Prem Shilwal Bishwakarma, the narrative unfolds with emotional authenticity and raw realism.
The talented cast includes Bedana Rai, Prem Shilwal Bishwakarma, Milan Karki, Samyog Guragain, Sanam Shrestha, Kristina Basnet, and Ajay Karki, whose performances bring depth and nuance to the characters they portray.
Katha – Ek will be staged every day at 6:30 PM except Mondays, running until May 11 (28th Baisakh).
