NSL champion to receive Rs 8 million in third edition
The runner-up will receive Rs 3 million.

KATHMANDU: The champion of the third edition of the Nepal Super League (NSL) will be awarded Rs 8 million, organizers announced on the eve of the grand finale.
At a press conference held on Friday, Nepal Sports and Event Management revealed the prize money for the top two teams of the tournament.
The runner-up will receive Rs 3 million.
Compared to last year, the prize amounts for both the winner and the runner-up have been increased by Rs 1 million.
The final match will take place on Saturday at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar, where defending champions Lalitpur City FC will face Pokhara Thunders.
While Lalitpur is making their second appearance in the final, it is Pokhara’s debut in the championship match.
Lalitpur secured their spot in the final by winning the first qualifier, while Pokhara advanced after defeating Dhangadhi FC in the second qualifier.
The stage is now set for an exciting showdown between the two powerhouses of this year’s NSL.
