Mother dies four days after poisoning incident that killed 3 children
According to the District Police Office, Pavitra passed away while undergoing treatment at Ram Janaki Hospital in Janakpur.

KATHMANDU: Pavitra Sah, a mother from Yadukaha in Shahid Municipality-5, Dhanusha, has died four days after a tragic poisoning incident that claimed the lives of her three children last Monday.
According to the District Police Office, Pavitra passed away while undergoing treatment at Ram Janaki Hospital in Janakpur.
She had been in critical condition on a ventilator after consuming pesticide commonly used on wheat crops.
Her three children—six-year-old Aditya Sah, four-year-old daughter Aakriti Sah, and two-year-old daughter Aruti Sah—died on the spot after ingesting the same substance.
Pavitra Sah was the wife of Sushil Sah of Yadukaha.
She was reportedly pregnant at the time of the incident.
Doctors performed surgery to save the unborn child, who is said to be in stable condition, according to hospital director Mithlesh Sah.
Police suspect the tragedy was the result of a family dispute. An investigation is currently underway.
