PM Oli’s scheduled parliament address postponed
CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula informed that the address was deferred due to the absence of opposition leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s planned address to Parliament, scheduled for today, has been postponed at the last minute.
CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula informed that the address was deferred due to the absence of opposition leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
According to Bartaula, it is customary for all major political leaders, including those from opposition parties, to be present during the Prime Minister’s address to the House. As leader of the opposition Dahal could not attend today’s session, the address has been rescheduled.
The Prime Minister was originally set to address the Parliament on the opening day of the budget session, which was scheduled to begin at 1 PM this afternoon.
However, the change in the opposition’s presence led to an adjustment in the parliamentary agenda.
