Gold price falls by Rs 1,000 on last trading day of the week

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market dropped sharply on Friday, the final trading day of the week.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold decreased by Rs 1,000 per tola.
With the drop, Chhapawal gold is now being traded at Rs 189,600 per tola, down from Rs 190,600 per tola on Thursday.
Silver also saw a decline, falling by Rs 10 per tola. It is currently being traded at Rs 2,000 per tola, compared to Rs 2,010 per tola the previous day.
As per the Federation, the price of gold per 10 grams stands at Rs 162,550, while silver per 10 grams is priced at Rs 1,714.50.
