KATHMANDU: Former Education Minister Bidya Bhattrai expressed gratitude as she concluded her tenure, congratulating newly appointed Minister Raghuji Panta.
Bhattrai, who resigned citing a lack of support from both the party and the government, took to social media to thank Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
She wrote, “I am grateful to Prime Minister and UML President KP Sharma Oli, as well as the Cabinet under his leadership, for entrusting me with responsibilities.”
She also expressed appreciation for the party leadership and the entire party structure for providing her with the opportunity.
During her nine-month tenure, Bhattrai thanked her colleagues, including secretaries, under-secretaries, departmental heads, staff, and security agencies, for their support.
Looking ahead, Bhattrai hinted at her future journey, stating, “My future path will focus on strengthening public education, promoting research, and advancing quality education for all, based on technology.”
