KATHMANDU: Rameshwar Tiwari, proprietor of Tiwari Store in Jorpati, has won a Tata EV car under the ‘Wholesaler Gift Scheme’ run by Wai Wai noodles targeting bulk distributors.
The car was handed over by Wai Wai CEO Pradeep Poudel in a special ceremony held in Lalitpur on Wednesday.
The promotional campaign, launched in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur, offered wholesalers a chance to win attractive prizes through a lucky draw.
For every purchase of 50 cartons of Wai Wai noodles, a yellow coupon was provided, and for every 500 cartons, a green coupon was given—both granting entry into the draw.
Under the scheme, lucky winners stood a chance to win a Tata EV car, Hero XPulse motorcycles, LG televisions, LG refrigerators, pilgrimage tour packages to Shashwat Dham, and smartwatches.
Expressing his delight, Tiwari said, “Wai Wai has become the top choice for noodles among Nepali consumers. I’m extremely grateful for this reward. Incentives like these truly motivate wholesalers.”
In addition to the grand prize, other winners include:
Hero XPulse motorcycles: KAB Store, Ram & Ganesh Store, and Hamro Store (Kathmandu); Ujjwal Store (Bhaktapur); and Prakash Pradhan (Lalitpur).
LG 55-inch TVs: 5 wholesalers from the Valley.
LG refrigerators: 10 wholesalers.
Shashwat Dham tour packages: 50 winners.
Smartwatches: 70 winners.
Speaking at the event, CEO Pradeep Poudel credited Wai Wai’s success to the love from Nepali consumers and the strong network of distribution partners. “We remain committed to our customers, wholesalers, and retailers. Our goal is to continuously deliver quality products and meet consumer expectations,” he said.
