NEPSE inches up by 2.08 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 2.08 points on Wednesday, marking a marginal gain of 0.07 percent to close at 2,658.02 points.

A total of 83 companies witnessed an increase in share prices, while 161 saw a decline.

One company’s share price remained unchanged.

The market recorded a total turnover of Rs 7.87 billion from 70,703 transactions.

Altogether, 19.75 million shares were traded during the day.

Despite the overall index gain, the majority of sub-indices ended in the red, reflecting a mixed market sentiment.
