In pics: UML’s youth celebration at Bhrikutimandap
Thousands of UML-affiliated youths have started gathering at the venue for the celebration.
KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has organized a Youth Celebration event at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, to mark Democracy Day.
The program is being held to commemorate the victory of the people over absolute monarchy through the people’s movement, which the party regards as a historic achievement.
Thousands of UML-affiliated youths have started gathering at the venue for the celebration.
The event aims to spread the message that Nepal holds opportunities for youth in employment and prosperity within the country.
Youths from across the nation have traveled to Kathmandu to participate in the event.
According to Kshitiz Thebe, President of the UML-aligned Youth Association of Nepal, around 100,000 youths under the age of 40 are expected to take part in the celebration.
