KATHMANDU: The Government of Nepal has decided to provide a relief amount of Rs 1 million each to the families of Sabin Maharjan and Suresh Rajak, who lost their lives in the Threekune incident that occurred on Chaitra 15.

The decision was made public during a press conference held today to share the outcomes of the Cabinet meeting convened on Baisakh 8.

Speaking at the briefing, Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Government Spokesperson, Prithvi Subba Gurung, stated that the relief will be provided to the nearest kin of the deceased.

The tragic incident in Tinkune claimed the lives of Maharjan and Rajak, prompting the government to extend financial support to their bereaved families.
