Body of Butwal youth killed in Kashmir terror attack brought back to Nepal
Sudip had traveled to India for a holiday with his mother, sister, and brother-in-law.

KATHMANDU: The body of Sudip Neupane, a 27-year-old youth from Butwal who was killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India, on Tuesday, has been brought back to Nepal.
Neupane (deceased body), a resident of Butwal-14, was returned home this morning.
At around 7 AM, his body was received at the Nepal–India border point in Sunauli by administrative officials, security personnel, local representatives, and family members.
Sudip had traveled to India for a holiday with his mother, sister, and brother-in-law.
Originally from Belbariya in Butwal-14, he had been living near Horizon Chowk in Kalikanagar, Butwal-11, for the past four years.
Following the separation of his parents—father Dhruba (Kaushal) and mother Reema—Sudip had been living with his mother and sister Sushma.
After his sister’s marriage in Pokhara two years ago, his mother remained alone at home, prompting Sudip to frequently visit despite studying Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) in Kathmandu.
He had earlier completed his undergraduate degree in Public Health from Dharan and was continuing his further studies in Kathmandu.
Sudip’s untimely death has cast a shadow of grief over his hometown and raised concerns about the safety of Nepali citizens traveling abroad.
