UAE Deputy PM Al Nahyan meets PM Oli (photos)

KATHMANDU: UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today.

During the meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar, discussions were held on various aspects of the friendly relations between the two countries, as well as trade and investment opportunities.

Sheikh Al Nahyan encouraged UAE businesses to explore opportunities for investment and trade in Nepal’s tourism, energy, and agriculture sectors.

On his two-day visit to Nepal, which began on Tuesday, Sheikh Al Nahyan expressed interest in establishing a free trade agreement with Nepal.

Prime Minister Oli praised the rapid progress made by the UAE in development and urged further investment in Nepal’s hydroelectric, green energy, and hydro energy sectors.
