KATHMANDU: The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) has called on the government to promptly pass the School Education Bill and address the legitimate demands of teachers.

In a press conference held today at the party’s headquarters in Parisdanda, Vice Chair and Spokesperson Agniprasad Sapkota urged the government to pass the Education Act at the beginning of the upcoming parliamentary session, in order to create an environment where protesting teachers can return to schools.

The Maoist Centre also highlighted the need for immediate dialogue with the affected groups, including victims of microfinance and cooperatives, employees, and medical professionals, to address their legitimate demands.
