SCT-UPI cardholders enjoy up to 15% discount at Mercure Hotel

KATHMANDU: Smartech Technologies Ltd, the payment system operator authorized by Nepal Rastra Bank, has signed an agreement with the 5-star Mercure Hotel Kathmandu Sukedhara Heights, offering SCT-UPI cardholders discounts of up to 15%.

This collaboration, which started in January, allows both domestic and international guests to enjoy excellent services at the hotel.

Under this agreement, SCT-UPI cardholders can avail of a 10% discount on food and beverage bills, and a 15% discount on room rates at Mercure Hotel Kathmandu.

The room discount is available only for transactions made through the SCT-UPI card.

SCT Technologies has been issuing SCT-UPI cards through 21 banks and financial institutions, as well as over 100 cooperatives.

This offer aims to promote the use of cards and encourage cashless transactions.

Customers who do not yet have an SCT-UPI card can easily obtain one by visiting their nearest bank or financial institution.
