KATHMANDU: Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the unity among the communists is the need of the hour.

During his address to a programme organised at the party office today, marking the 77th establishment day of Nepal Communist Party Nepal and the 156th birth anniversary of Vladimir Lenin, the founder of Russian Communist Party, here today, the leader said, “It is not just a historic coincidence but also a source of inspiration that the establishment of the CPN and Lenin’s birth anniversary fall on the same day.”

His speech centered on the journey of the communist party, its current position, and its future direction, according to a statement from Dahal’s private secretariat.

“The CPN, established inspired by Lenin’s ideals, has now completed 77 years, which is a matter of pride for the entire communist movement,” he added.
