KATHMANDU: Police have arrested another individual in connection with the royalist protest that took place on March 28 in Tinkune, Kathmandu.
The arrested individual, Tejendra Rayamajhi, a resident of Nayabasti, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, has been taken into custody on charges of committing an offense against the state, according to authorities.
Rayamajhi is known to be a close associate of Durga Prasai. He serves as the coordinator of the Bagmati Provincial Committee of the Youth Front under the “National Campaign to Save Nation, Nationalism, Religion, Culture, and Citizens.”
A police official confirmed that Rayamajhi was apprehended from Jorpati.
