‘Karki Saila’ movie to begin shooting from May 3
The film will feature a talented ensemble cast including Jeetu Nepal, Barsha Siwakoti, Geeta Adhikari, Mansi Sharma, Shyam Magar, and Manil Tamang.
KATHMANDU: A new Nepali movie titled ‘Karki Saila’ has been announced. At a press conference held today, director Rajendra Basnet revealed that the film’s shooting will commence from May 3.
“The film will portray the story of a family living in a rural setting,” said Basnet. “It revolves around the life of a porter, highlighting the struggles and aspirations of people living at the grassroots level.”
The film will feature a talented ensemble cast including Jeetu Nepal, Barsha Siwakoti, Geeta Adhikari, Mansi Sharma, Shyam Magar, and Manil Tamang.
Actor Jeetu Nepal shared that his role in the film is unique and challenging. “This project is centered on themes that audiences have shown increasing interest in. I will be portraying a character quite different from my previous roles,” he said.
Produced under the banner of Karna Bahadur Films Pvt. Ltd., ‘Karki Saila’ is presented by Krishna Bhagat Chamling and produced by Bal Kumar Rai.
