NEPSE sees slight dip, closes at 2,698.28 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed a slight decline today, dropping by 7.75 points to settle at 2,698.28.

According to NEPSE, a total of 21,203,766 shares of 319 companies were traded in 78,678 transactions, resulting in a total turnover of Rs 8.77 billion.

Top Gainers:

• Nepal Microinsurance Ltd. and Crest Micro Life Insurance Ltd. surged by the maximum daily limit of 9.99%.

Top Loser:

• NMB Hybrid Fund–2 dropped the most, falling by 7.90%.

Most Active Stock:

• Ngadi Group Power Ltd. led the market in both volume and value, with 1,590,205 shares traded worth Rs 539.91 million.

NEPSE’s performance today reflects a mixed sentiment among investors, with select sectors showing resilience despite a slight market dip.
