Gold price hits all-time high

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has reached a new record high.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold surged by Rs 1,200 per tola today (Monday), setting an all-time high.

As of today, Chhapawal gold is being traded at Rs 191,000 per tola, up from Rs 189,800 per tola on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable.

It is being traded at Rs 1,960 per tola, the same as Sunday.
