KATHMANDU: Leandro Trossard netted twice as Arsenal cruised to a commanding 4–0 victory over a 10-man Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Belgian forward opened the scoring in the 14th minute, giving the Gunners early control. Gabriel Martinelli doubled the lead in the 30th minute with a clinical finish.
Just two minutes later, Ipswich’s hopes took a major blow when Leif Davis was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on Bukayo Saka, reducing them to 10 men.
Trossard struck again in the 69th minute with a brilliant goal, and Ethan Nwaneri’s deflected effort sealed the win in the closing moments of the game.
The result keeps second-placed Arsenal on 66 points, while Ipswich remain in 18th — 15 points from safety with only 15 points left to play for.
