Heavy rain likely in Koshi Bagmati, and Gandaki

KATHMANDU: There is possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces today.

This is due to the influence of local winds and westerly winds, says the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

At present, light rainfall with thunder and lightning is occurring in one or two places in Koshi Province and Bagmati Province.

The weather is partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces and mainly clear to partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

Tonight, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces and mainly clear to partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

There is possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in few places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and in one or two places in the hilly areas of Karnali provinces.

There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
