Gold price hits record high

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in Nepal has surged to a new record, with an increase of Rs 3,600 per tola today (Thursday), according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Currently, Chhapawal gold is trading at Rs 190,600 per tola, marking the highest price ever recorded.

In comparison, the price was Rs 187,000 per tola on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, silver prices have also risen by Rs 5, reaching Rs 1,960 per tola, up from Rs 1,955 per tola on Wednesday.
