20 Central Members of Nepal Women’s Association resign en masse
They accused the Association's president of being unresponsive and not adhering to the party’s statutes while advancing any programs.

KATHMANDU: A total of 20 central members of the Nepal Women’s Association, a sister wing of the Nepali Congress, have submitted their collective resignation.
According to a statement issued by the Association, the members decided to resign after the party leadership failed to address internal disputes and calls for organizational reform.
They cited growing disorder within the organization as the key reason behind their decision.
The resigning members are aligned with the Shekhar–Gagan faction of the Nepali Congress.
Prominent figures among them include Chandradevi Joshi, Rita Shahi, Chhaya Sunar, Dr. Amita Pradhan Shakya, Uma Shivakoti, Ranjita Giri, Dr. Sita Ghimire, Tara Thapaliya, Navodita Chaudhary, Bhagawati KC, Miradevi Chand, Parvati Chand, Geeta Gurung, Rama Aryal, Lilakumari Nepal, Radha Kunwar, Sunisha Bhetwal, and Parvati Acharya.
Prior to the resignation, the group had submitted a four-point demand to the leadership and had warned of mass resignation if their concerns were not addressed.
