NC President Deuba condoles death of freedom fighter Shrestha

KATHMANDU:  Freedom fighter Moti Kumar Shrestha has passed away at the age of 93.

Nepali Congress leader Shrestha, a resident of Damauli of Byas Municipality-2 in Tanahun, died while under treatment on Tuesday night.

He had worked at the forefront of the struggle in Bandipur during the People’s Revolution of 2007 BS.

He will be cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat today.

Meanwhile, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of democracy fighter Shrestha and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
