TU rector Prof. Dr. KC appointed acting Vice-Chancellor

KATHMANDU: Rector Prof. Dr. Khadga KC has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University.

Prime Minister and Chancellor of Tribhuvan University, KP Sharma Oli, has appointed Prof. Dr. Khagda KC as the Acting Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University for a maximum period of three months.

The appointment comes in accordance with Section 21 (b) of the Tribhuvan University Act, 2049 BS, following the resignation of former Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Keshar Jung Baral, which was approved on Chaitra 28.

Dr. KC, who currently serves as the Rector of the university, has been entrusted with the responsibility effective from Chaitra 31, until a new Vice Chancellor is formally appointed.
