KATHMANDU: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ emphasized the importance of community participation in developing health infrastructure at the local level.

Speaking at a discussion program organized at the Community Natural Medicine Hospital in Devchuli Municipality-16, Rajhar, Prachanda expressed his party’s commitment to support the hospital’s transformation into a teaching hospital and a university for natural medicine.

The event was held under the party’s campaign focused on the Hulaki Highway.

During the program, Prachanda noted that the federal government has already allocated Rs 130 million for the development of the hospital and urged the provincial government to also invest in health infrastructure related to natural treatment.

He expressed satisfaction with the hospital’s growing reputation as a key health institution at the local level.

Prior to the discussion, Prachanda and other members of the campaign team toured the hospital and exchanged New Year greetings with the community.
