65-year-old man found dead in Jogmai River, Ilam

KATHMANDU: A 65-year-old man was found dead in Jogmai River in Ilam on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Dev Kumar Rai, a resident of Dhore, Suryodaya Municipality-9.

According to local authorities, his body was discovered in the river under unclear circumstances.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death and any possible foul play.
