Public trust in Maoist Centre is growing: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, stated that the people are gradually placing their trust in the Maoist Centre once again.
Addressing a mass gathering in Gaindakot, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East), on Monday evening, Prachanda shared his experience from the ongoing “People with Maoist Centre: Hulaki Marg-Centric Terai-Madhesh Awakening Campaign.”
He said that as he traveled from Jhapa to Nawalpur, he felt the growing trust of the people toward the party.
According to him, the country is currently navigating a difficult political situation, which is why the Maoist Centre has launched this nationwide awareness campaign to foster political stability.
“The campaign, which began in Jhapa, will continue all the way to Kanchanpur. So far, millions of people have participated,” he said.
“Throughout the journey, I’ve had the chance to directly hear the voices of families of martyrs, the disappeared, war veterans, as well as poor farmers and workers.”
He further mentioned that the campaign has allowed him to closely understand the present needs and aspirations of indigenous nationalities, Madhesi, Dalit, Muslim, and Tharu communities.
“By staying in the homes of ordinary citizens and listening to their concerns directly, people have realized that the Maoist Centre is a party that is serious about the nation, honest toward the people, sensitive to change, and committed to good governance, social justice, and economic prosperity,” Prachanda added.
