5-year-old girl drowns in Dordi River

LAMJUNG: An incident occurred in Dordi Rural Municipality-4, Nautharsera, Lamjung, where a 5-year-old girl lost her life after drowning in the nearby Dordi River on Monday morning.

The victim, Rashmi Tamang, daughter of Bishnu Tamang, reportedly drowned while bathing in the river close to her residence.

She was rescued and rushed to the Provincial Hospital in Lamjung for further treatment but, unfortunately, was pronounced dead during the course of medical care.

According to the police, an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
