Man found dead in Khotang, police investigating

KATHMANDU: Karna Bahadur BK, a 52-year-old resident of Jyamire in Aiselukharka Rural Municipality-6, Khotang, was found dead at the base of Chankhure Pahire cliff on Friday.

According to local authorities, BK’s body was discovered under suspicious circumstances at the bottom of the cliff located near his village.

The incident has prompted an official investigation by the Nepal Police, who have yet to determine the cause of death.

“We are currently looking into the matter from all possible angles,” a police spokesperson said. “Further details will be shared once the investigation progresses.”

The body has been sent for post-mortem examination as part of the ongoing inquiry.
