PM Oli attends commissioning parade of Nepali Army Cadets
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Oli awarded ceremonial Khukuris to the best performing cadets and officers in recognition of their excellence.

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inspected the Commissioning Parade of various officer cadet batches of the Nepali Army held today at the Nepal Army Training Academy in Kharipati, Bhaktapur.
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Oli awarded ceremonial Khukuris to the best performing cadets and officers in recognition of their excellence.
Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted the increasingly dynamic, multidimensional, and challenging global security environment.
He stressed that capable and well-trained human resources are essential to safeguarding Nepal’s national security interests.
Prime Minister Oli also praised the Nepali Army for its significant contributions not only to national security but also in disaster risk reduction and international peacekeeping missions.
The event was attended by First Lady Radhika Shakya, Defence Minister Manbir Rai, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Chief of Army Staff General Ashokraj Sigdel, and other high-ranking officials.
