On killed, another wounder in truck collision
The victim, 17-year-old Anjali Kumari Mahato of Ishwarpur Municipality-13, was riding the bicycle at the time of the accident and died on the spot.

KATHMANDU: A teenage girl lost her life and her younger sister was injured in a tragic road accident in Haripurwa Municipality-9, Mirchaiya Bazaar, on Friday morning.
According to Sarlahi District Police, the incident occurred along the Banke-Sangrampur road section when a truck (registration number Na 5 Kha 3858), coming from the opposite direction, struck a bicycle carrying the two girls.
The victim, 17-year-old Anjali Kumari Mahato of Ishwarpur Municipality-13, was riding the bicycle at the time of the accident and died on the spot.
Her 15-year-old sister, Pooja Kumari Mahato, who was seated on the back of the bicycle, sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a local medical facility.
Police have taken the truck and its driver, 31-year-old Laxman BK of Taiwan Tole, Hariban Municipality-10, into custody for further investigation.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Saroj Rai confirmed that the victim’s body has been sent to the Provincial Hospital in Malangwa for post-mortem examination.
