Gold price hits all-time high
With this rise, the price of Chhapawal gold has reached Rs 185,000 per tola, the highest ever recorded in Nepal.

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has surged to a new record high.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 3,900 per tola (approximately 11.66 grams) on Friday.
With this rise, the price of Chhapawal gold has reached Rs 185,000 per tola, the highest ever recorded in Nepal.
On the previous trading day, Thursday, gold was being traded at Rs 181,100 per tola.
The price of silver has also seen an increase.
It went up by Rs 5 per tola and is now being traded at Rs 1,905 per tola.
On Thursday, silver was priced at Rs 1,900 per tola.
