Teachers’ protest continues today as well (photos)

KATHMANDU: The ongoing teachers’ protest in Nepal continues as they demand the enactment of the Education Act.

Teachers have been protesting with various slogans from Bijuli Bazaar to Baneshwor.

They are calling for the issuance of an education act that ensures quality school education and a student-teacher-friendly environment.

Led by the Federation of Nepalese Teachers, teachers from across the country are participating in the movement.

Since March 20, teachers have been staging protests in Kathmandu.

As of today, the 8th day of the protest, teachers have yet to receive justice or a resolution to their demands.
