RPP leaders vow to continue monarchy restoration movement

KATHMANDU: Senior Vice Chair of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rabindra Mishra, and General Secretary Dr. Dhawal Shumsher Rana, currently in custody, have reaffirmed their commitment to the ongoing movement for the restoration of the monarchy in Nepal.
The leaders made their remarks while appearing in court for a bail hearing on Tuesday.
Together, Rabindra Mishra and Dr. Dhawal Shamsher Rana expressed, “Our movement continues.” While under police surveillance at the court, both leaders signaled their supporters and well-wishers with a “thumbs up,” assuring them of their unwavering resolve to continue the struggle.
Earlier, Dr. Dhawal Shamsher Rana, speaking as an elected Member of Parliament, assured the public, “Do not worry, the destination is near.” He expressed confidence that the movement was approaching a decisive phase and reaffirmed his belief in the eventual restoration of the monarchy in Nepal.
The leaders’ remarks have stirred hope among their supporters, highlighting their dedication to their cause despite their current detention.
