KATHMANDU: MG Motors Nepal has officially launched the highly anticipated MGS5 EV in Butwal and Bhairahawa via its authorized dealers (Varun Motors Pvt. Ltd and Three H.L Company Pvt. Ltd respectively), marking a new era of electric mobility in the region.

As the successor to the popular MG ZS EV, the MGS5 EV arrives with cutting-edge technology, enhanced performance, and premium features designed for modern EV enthusiasts.

To celebrate the launch, MG Motors Butwal (Varun Motors Pvt. Ltd) and MG Motors Bhairahawa (Three H.L Company Pvt. Ltd) have announced aggressive test drive and booking across and around Butwal and Bhairahawa, allowing customers to experience the future of electric driving firsthand.

The MGS5 EV is available in two dynamic variants—Comfort and Deluxe—both equipped with a 49kWh battery and a 99kW motor, delivering an impressive 250 Nm of torque.

For those seeking extended range, the Deluxe variant also comes with a 62kWh battery, ensuring longer drives with zero emissions.

MGS5 EV equipped with 49kWh battery and 99kW motor in comfort and deluxe variant starting prices are Nrs 43.99 lakhs and Nrs 49.99 Lakhs respectively, while MGS5 EV equipped with 62kWh of battery comes with price tag of Nrs 54.99 Lakhs.

Built on a dedicated pure EV platform, the MGS5 EV introduces segment-leading innovations. It boasts the world’s thinnest battery, ensuring an optimized center of gravity for improved stability and efficiency.

The vehicle also features a rear wheel-drive configuration, a five-link independent suspension system, and state-of-the-art engineering that enhances driving dynamics and passenger comfort.
