NEPSE index aflls by 3.44 points on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 3.44 points on Tuesday, settling at 2,666.61 points.

This represents a 0.12% drop compared to the previous trading day.

On this day, the share prices of 121 companies rose, while 123 companies saw their share prices fall.

In a total of 53,492 transactions, 10.643 million shares were bought and sold, amounting to a total turnover of Rs 5.3 billion.

The trading volume also saw a decline compared to the previous day.

Out of the 13 sub-indices, the indicators for finance companies, manufacturing and processing, non-life insurance, and trade showed an increase.

However, the indices for the remaining sectors experienced a downturn.
