KATHMANDU: Leader and Member of Parliament of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Deepak Singh, emphasized that the monarchy is essential for preserving the religion, traditions, and culture of Nepal.

Speaking at a public gathering organized by the RPP today, Singh expressed his views. He stated, “In this assembly, I see many nationalist colleagues from Congress, UML, and the Maoists as well. It is now time for everyone to unite to save the country and the people. We must uproot and discard this corrupt government that is being run by smugglers. If the government does not reform, the Nepali people will bring about the same situation as Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.”

Singh also claimed that the government was responsible for the murder of journalist Suresh Rajak during the royalist protest on March 28.
