KATHMANDU: Teachers across the country, led by the Federation, are continuing their protests demanding the issuance of a new Education Bill that ensures quality education and a teacher-friendly environment.

The demonstration, which began on April 2, has seen teachers rallying from Maitighar to Baneshwor in Kathmandu, raising their voices for change.

The protesting teachers are calling for the implementation of an education law that prioritizes quality schooling, as well as the well-being of both students and educators.

They stress the urgent need for a law that supports a more efficient and supportive education system.

Leaders of the teachers’ federation have stated that this protest is not just a call for policy change but the “final and decisive movement” to secure their demands. As they march through the streets of Kathmandu, their determination is clear: the new Education Bill must be enacted to ensure the future of education in Nepal.
