RPP rally in Balkhu calls for monarchy, Hindu nation (photos)

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is organizing a large rally in Balkhu, Kathmandu, demanding the restoration of constitutional monarchy and the Hindu nation.
Participants from various regions of the country are gathering in Balkhu, while processions are also being prepared in different areas within the Kathmandu Valley.
The rally will be addressed by RPP President Rajendra Lingden and other party leaders.
In response to the event, the government has implemented heightened security measures.
Around 2,000 security personnel from the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and the National Investigation Department have been deployed.
To monitor the situation, drones, body cameras, and CCTV cameras are being used.
Security forces have been instructed to strictly monitor and take action against any unruly behavior.
