Gyawali stresses strong Nepal-India relations & support for Nepal’s development

KATHMANDU: The Deputy General Secretary of the CPN-UML, Pradeep Gyawali, has stated that Nepal-India relations are multifaceted.

He made this remark during an interaction organized by the Ganeshman Singh Foundation in Kathmandu on Monday, titled “Contributions of Former Indian Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar to Strengthening Nepal-India Relations.”

Gyawali emphasized that, as close neighbors, Nepal and India can resolve any issues through dialogue.

He further noted that the changing global dynamics are urging both Nepal and India, along with South Asia, to move forward with cooperation and mutual understanding.

He also stressed the need for India to continue providing generous support for Nepal’s development and rapid transformation.

In a separate context, Deputy General Secretary Gyawali stated that the only alternative to democracy is a strengthened democracy.
