Rabi claims allegations against him are false
Lamichhane emphasized that he would respect the court's order and exercise his legal rights.

KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, the leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has dismissed the various allegations raised against him, asserting that they will be proven false.
Speaking just before being sent to jail today, Lamichhane emphasized that he would respect the court’s order and exercise his legal rights.
He stated, “There will be no injustice from the temple of justice, I am confident. However, the suspicions raised and those that will be raised, they will all be proven wrong.”
Lamichhane also directed his party to focus on expanding their efforts and reaching the public. He advised, “If you can, grow the movement; if not, at least don’t let it shrink. Take the campaign to the people.”
Expressing concerns over what he perceives as political vengeance against him, he added, “Everyone’s turn will come. I am the first student of this examination. Just as I have been tested, others will also have to face the same.”
This marks a significant moment as Lamichhane faces legal challenges while continuing to lead his party through turbulent times.
