NEPSE index drops by 33.33 points on Monday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 33.33 points on Monday.

Following a 1.23% drop compared to the previous trading day, the overall Nepse index fell to 2,670.06 points.

On that day, the share prices of 23 companies increased, while 221 companies saw a decline.

A total of 57,712 transactions were made, involving 1,148,866 shares.

The total value of these transactions amounted to Rs 5.65 billion. Compared to the previous day, the trading volume decreased.

Among the 13 subgroups that participated in the market, all of them experienced a decline in their indices, which contributed to the overall drop in the Nepse index.
