KATHMANDU: In a thrilling Manchester Derby, Manchester City and Manchester United played out a goalless draw on Sunday.

Despite both teams creating some chances in the second half, neither could find the back of the net.

The first half saw both sides struggle to break through each other’s defense, with neither team creating clear-cut opportunities.

However, in the second half, City’s Phil Foden and United’s Josua Jirkje were both presented with decent chances but failed to convert.

This draw leaves Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United in 13th place in the standings.

Meanwhile, Tottenham, who defeated Southampton 3-1 on the same day, have now surpassed them.

Manchester City, currently in 5th place with 52 points, missed the opportunity to climb into 4th.

They are just one point behind Chelsea and two points ahead of Newcastle United. United, with 38 points, remains in 13th place.

In other matches, Chelsea also drew 0-0 with Brentford, while Premier League leaders Liverpool were stunned by a 3-2 defeat to Fulham.
