KATHMANDU: The auspicious launch of the film Janai Harayaeko Bahun was held today in the morning at the Budhanilkantha temple in Kathmandu.

During the ceremony, most of the film’s cast members were present.

Actress Miruna Magar, actor Sushank Mainali, actor Gaurav Pahari, and Bhola Raj Sapkota performed the ritual by pressing the start button for the film’s muhurat shot.

The film’s shooting will officially begin tomorrow, as confirmed by the production team. Prior to this, a script pooja had also been performed for the film.

Janai Haraeko Bahun is being directed by Himal Neupane. The film will feature performances from Bijay Baral, Sushank Mainali, Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Gaurav Pahadi, Riya Rai, Bhola Raj Sapkota, and others.

According to the production team, filming will commence tomorrow in Panauti, Kavrepalanchowk, and will also take place in Palpa and Kathmandu.

The film tells the story of a simple person who moves from the village to the city and faces unexpected events, leading to significant changes in his life. It will also explore the emotional bond between a mother and her son.

After the muhurat, actress Miruna Magar shared her excitement with the media, saying, “I am very happy to be a part of this team. I would like to thank everyone on the team. My character in the film is very special to me.”

Associate Director Manish Raut mentioned that the film represents the story of all Nepali people, focusing on themes such as relationships between brothers and the bond between mother and son.

Actor Sushank Mainali, who is returning to the screen after 10 years since the release of Talkajang vs. Tulke, expressed his happiness about being part of this film.

This is the directorial debut of Himal Nayopane, and the film’s associate director is actor Manish Raut, known for Prem Geet 3. The screenplay, script, and dialogues for the film have been written by Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal.

The film is being produced by Paperclip Pvt. Ltd., with Bimal Nayopane as the producer.

The executive producers of the film include Kamal Nayopane, Narayan Timsina, Churamoni Shivakoti, Rupesh Lama, and RK Manandhar.

The music for the film is by Thaneshwar Gautam and SD Yogi, and the production manager is Laxman Raj Paudel.

The film’s shooting schedule spans 40 days, with Aditya Films serving as the production company, and the cinematography will be handled by Navin Gurung.
