One dies, 3 wounded in accident
Dayal succumbed to his injuries at the District Hospital in Chanchale.
KATHMANDU: One person has died while three others were injured in a road accident that took place in Baitadi on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Chanchal Dayal of Pancheshwor Rural Municipality-5, according to Baitadi Police Spokesperson, Police Inspector Balram Pandey.
Dayal succumbed to his injuries at the District Hospital in Chanchale.
The accident took place when a jeep (BAC 5659), going to Giregada from Dehimandau, fell 40 meters below the road after the driver lost control of the vehicle at a place called Nanigad in Dasharathchand Municipality-11.
The injured are 52-year-old Laliram Koli of Pancheshwor, the jeep driver 35-year-old Rakesh Koli and 30-year-old Kabita Pariyar of Dasharathchand Municipality-10.
They are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital.
The District Police Office, Baitadi, has stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
