KATHMANDU: Lucknow Super Giants defeated Mumbai Indians by 12 runs in today’s Indian Premier League (IPL) match.

Mumbai’s Suryakumar Yadav top-scored with 67 runs off 43 balls, including 9 fours and 1 six. Mumbai got off to a rocky start, losing 2 wickets for just 17 runs. However, Suryakumar and Naman Dhir combined for a crucial 69-run partnership for the third wicket. Dhir contributed 46 runs from 24 balls, hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes.

For the fourth wicket, Suryakumar and Tilak Varma added 66 runs, with Tilak scoring 25 runs from 23 balls, including 2 fours, before being retired out on the fifth ball of the 19th over. The fifth-wicket partnership between Tilak and captain Hardik Pandya added 32 runs, with Pandya remaining not out on 21 from 16 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six.
