KATHMANDU: The play “Arko Euta Dronacharya”, based on the contemporary narrative, has begun its performances at Mandala Theatre in Thapagun.
Through the character of Guru Dronacharya from the epic Mahabharata, the play portrays the moral and leadership conflicts present in Nepali society.
The entire play centers around the struggle between power, authority, and morality, exploring how even well-intentioned individuals can be corrupted by power and position.
“Arko Euta Dronacharya” is inspired by the Indian playwright Dr. Shankar Shesh’s “Ek Aur Dronacharya”.
Directed by Umesh Tamang, the play has been adapted into Nepali by Samrat Bhujel and Shreesha Shrestha. It will be performed at Mandala Theatre until 7th of Baisakh.
