KATHMANDU: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described his meeting with Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli as fruitful.

In a post on his social media platform X, Modi shared the details of the discussion in Nepali, stating, “The meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Bangkok was fruitful. India gives high priority to its relationship with Nepal.”

He went on to mention that the discussions covered various aspects of India-Nepal friendship, particularly focusing on energy, connectivity, culture, and digital technology.

“We also discussed some key positive outcomes from this year’s BIMSTEC summit, especially in the areas of disaster management and maritime transport,” Modi wrote.
